Location: Melbourne | Size: 13,000m²

Department of Transport’s new workplace is a purpose-designed facility that empowers employees by granting them control over their working style.

As part of a joint venture with architecture firm peckvonhartel, Aspect were tasked with supplying workplace furniture designed to support the Department of Transport’s shift towards a hybrid model. This included workstations, agile solutions, workpoint accessories and innovative technology.

The primary objective for this fitout was to offer cost-effective solutions without compromising design standards or quality of the workplace.

With a vision to modernise DoT’s work culture, peckvonhartel has created a flexible business hub that supports a hybrid model of working. Each employee can choose when, where and how to work, with a wide range of resources available to drive their productivity, including, training facilities, digitally integrated collaborative areas and isolated workpoints.

A number of Aspect products were selected to support this work style transition. This included Activate sit-to-stand workpoints fitted with privacy screens, monitor arms and Floorsight technology, Project whiteboards, WorkTotes and locker storage.

The WorkTote is a handy storage accessory designed for agile and activity based working styles. The sturdy features of the WorkTote allow people to hold all of their essentials in one location and move between work spaces with total ease.
