Greenwood Roche | Auckland

A modern and sophisticated workplace for a top-tier law firm.

Location: Auckland | Size: 500m²

New Zealand leading law firm, Greenwood Roche, recently relocated into the beautiful Hayman Kronfeld Building in downtown Britomart – a heritage redevelopment by Peddlethorp Architects.

Originally designed as two warehouses to serve Auckland’s busy port, the two buildings have undergone significant renovations to become 5-Green Star rating offices and modern retail and hospitality spaces in the city’s CBD.

As well as supporting the continued growth and development of the Greenwood Roche team, the shift to a larger premises provides the top-tier law firm with greater meeting room capacity and a variety of bespoke spaces for staff and clients to enjoy.

Working closely alongside Wingate Architects and Rebbeck Dunn Watters, Aspect provided a range of furniture solutions to support their aspirations for a people-focused workplace that encourages open-plan working.

Greenwood Roche’s distinctive identity and their desire to “stand out from the pack” has translated into a stylish and modern work environment. The New York loft-style inspired space uses a combination of raw materials and premium finishes, contributing to a high-quality and sophisticated look and feel.

To maintain this aesthetic, our Agility meeting room tables and Activate desks were crafted from Rimu veneer, complementing the building’s original timber features, and table tops were finished with brass inlay detailing.

For this project, Activate back-to-back and freestanding workstations were used alongside our sliding storage units with planters.

A custom storage unit was designed specifically for this project, featuring a mesh door and side coat cupboard for enhanced functionality.
