PwC relocate to the regenerated Kumutoto Precinct.

Location: Wellington

Designed by Athfield Architects, an exceptional new base-isolated office building known as the PwC Centre sits at the heart of the regenerated Kumutoto Precinct of Wellington.

The building comprises a mixed-use ground floor and four upper levels of exceptional office space with high ceilings and 2,000m² floor plates to enable flexible, efficient layouts.

These spaces all benefit from the building’s extensively glazed façade, which maximises light and views over Wellington’s harbour and cityscape.

Business management consultants PwC relocated its Wellington offices onto levels 3 and 4 of the building, with the interior design of the fit-out handled by leading New Zealand architectural practice Warren and Mahoney.

The designers specified a wide range of Aspect’s furniture solutions throughout the fit-out, including Zurich 5 workpoints with wraparound focus screens, Runway desking and a wide range of Hive and Stork settings. The innovative Smartalock locker system was also installed and enables staff to easily access their personal lockers with an access card or mobile app.

Aspect worked closely with PwC and Warren and Mahoney to develop and future-proof a suite of products. Throughout the procurement process, the Aspect team set up a prototype space to trial each product and create desired design customisations. This ensured the selection perfectly addressed the client’s needs.
