Dexus | Brisbane

A benchmark for agile working excellence.

Location: Brisbane | Size: 2,300m²

As our Australian business grows, Aspect Furniture have been increasingly involved in commercial projects in Brisbane throughout 2019. This culminated with a new fit-out for the Dexus Suites at 145 Ann Street in Brisbane, which spanned over two floors and 2,300m².

Aspect were engaged by Dexus, Hassell and Buildcorp QLD as the major supplier of workpoints, meeting tables and seating for this project. The scope was to deliver furniture from stock and locally manufactured products to achieve a fast-tracked (3 - 4 week) supply and install programme. These speculative display floors served as an example of what could be achieved for Dexus’ clients across the twenty-seven floors of the Ann Street building.

Zurich 5 back-to-back linear desking were utilised for the workpoints and project spaces.

The design team at Hassell Brisbane, led by Carolyn Solley and Belinda Erken, created a flexible, efficient and effective workplace that was designed to unlock innovation through closer collaboration. The new agile workplace model will become a benchmark for projects requiring flexibility, sophistication and elegance in keeping with local manufacturing times.

Nine workpoint typologies in two frame colours were used and thirty-two individual product lines were included in the project. Aspect’s three regional factories in Australia and New Zealand all combined to produce products that contributed to the successful and fast-tracked furniture supply for this fit-out.
