Making a positive change in our community.

Over the past 4 years Chris Adgo, our Wellington Regional Sales Manager, has been supporting Jaime through the IHC friendship programme and has been leading Aspect’s partnership with IHC New Zealand.

IHC’s volunteer friendship programme is about making a positive change in someone’s life and gaining a new friend in the process. It is about spending time doing what you want to do, when you want to do it, with a person with an intellectual disability.

Both Jaime and Chris are passionate Hurricanes supporters who enjoy attending the home games at The Cake Tin to support the boys! Jaime has been a Hurricanes member for years and is always repping his team! 

Chris’s contribution with IHC has inspired us to get involved after seeing the positive impact this has in the community, and Aspect have become active, ongoing partners of IHC New Zealand through the Smile Club initiative – a New Zealand fundraiser that funds programmes to enhance the quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities and their families.

We want to take a moment to thank the IHC and our team member Chris for all they are doing to improve people’s lives!
